This Privacy Statement is applicable to nt3’s handling of personal information about users and potential users of nt3-online’s website.  If you have any questions or concerns about this statement, please get in touch by using our contact details provided on the website.

1. Collection

Registration
nt3 will only collect data that is provided directly by you when you register as a job-seeker.  This will include your name and email address.

Profile Information
When you register your information, you control what details of yours is available to be viewed. Your name and contact details will not be available immediately to browsing employers, that’s what they pay for! You will be allocated a coded personalised number to protect your identity until you authorise contact and release of personal information to a prospective employer.  Your “Password” is chosen by you. This personalised code generated by the nt3 System, together with your unique password, means to ensure your information is safe and protected. Never give this information to anyone as it is for your own personal profile anyway.

We suggest you use your current resume to cut and paste work history and education information into your profile to save time and energy. If you do not have an up to date resume then it will take more time to enter your skills and experience. This information can be archived on the site to save you having to do a new Profile at a later date.

Making on-line applications to a job advertised on our job board automatically registers you onto the nt3 system giving you other opportunities available with different prospective employers although you will have to complete your profile to attract the right employers.

For employers, nt3 only collects the information that you provide on or about the company and jobs on offer, your name, title and contact details.  These details are not disclosed to prospective employees until you initiate contact with potential interviewees at which time the profile of your company will also be released to a candidate.

nt3 also collects information of a non-personal nature about on site visitors including which sections of the site are most frequently visited, how often, for how long, which areas of the site are most popular etc and uses this information in order to improve and market the service nt3 is able to offer.

nt3 may collect further information from 3rd parties as part of our reference checking service.  Our Reference questions are available on written request to candidates registered with nt3.

Cookies & Log Files
The nt3 website uses cookies to track sessions. Cookies are small text files that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser to enable our systems to recognise your browser and provide a more seamless browsing experience. Cookies may also be used to record non-personal information such as the date, time or duration of your visit, or the pages accessed, for website administration, statistical and maintenance purposes. Any such information will be aggregated and not linked to particular individuals. The default settings of browsers like Netscape and Internet Explorer always allow cookies, but users can easily erase cookies from their hard-drive, block all cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Please note that some parts of the nt3 Website may not function fully for those users that disable cookies.

2. Use and Disclosure

The information you provide is for the purpose of providing prospective employers with your employment history and personal preferences regarding your working environment.  nt3 may collect information from a third party as part of their reference checking service.  You have access to your data and may add to it or amend it at any time.  We recommend that you only supply information that is true and correct and can be substantiated (e.g., qualifications, employment history).  We will not pass your details to a third party for anything other than recruitment services.  Employers details provided on registration will be passed to prospective employees as a summary of their company when requesting contact with a job seeker for possible employment.

An nt3 representative may contact job seekers in regards to particular employment opportunities that may seem suitable for you. nt3 may also contact you by email in order to alert you to new features and updates to the nt3 site. If you do not wish to be contacted by nt3 for this purpose, please indicate at the initial point of contact.

nt3 will email you with requests from prospective employers who would like to make contact with you for possible interviews.  You have the option to accept or reject such requests without disclosing any of your contact details.  Full details of the company making the request will be provided in order for you to make an information decision.  Naturally, nt3 cannot provide this service without your contact details.

Partnering
nt3 may partner with other service providers in order to expand or improve the nt3 service being offered. These services would only be marketed to users via the website or email if nominated by the registered user.

nt3 may also use and share information:

• with nt3’s related bodies corporate;
• with nt3’s suppliers on condition that they only use it for the purpose of providing services (such as information technology, legal or accounting services) to nt3;
• in connection with an acquisition or potential acquisition of an interest in nt3;
• to the extent that we are required or authorised by law to do so; and
• for administrative purposes including research, planning, service development, security and risk management.

3. Quality

The quality of information nt3 collects is entirely dependent upon job seekers and employers providing accurate and full information. nt3 only provides the vehicle to make life easier for both Employers and Job Seekers.

4. Security

nt3 is taking all reasonable measures to ensure that the information contained on the site is secure.  You may access your information at any time and make additions or alternations to keep it up to date.  Your details are kept on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities.  All nt3 employees and associates are obliged to maintain confidentiality of any personal information held by nt3.  However, nt3 cannot be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access of your personal information.

5 & 6. Openness & Access

As already stated, you have access to edit or amend your information at any time and once you no longer wish to use the services of nt3 you can request that your details be archived where they will remain secure and inaccessible by others unless you reactivate your account.   We provide the archive service so that job seekers can re-use previously submitted information at a future date when looking for further employment opportunities.

7. Identifiers

We do not collect, use or disclose Commonwealth Government Identifiers.

8. Anonymity

We provide anonymity to job seekers at all times and you remain anonymous to all potential employers until you have authorised contact via a ‘contact request’ which you will receive from nt3 by email.  Your contact details will only be passed to a third party with your permission and authorisation.

9. Transfer overseas

Your information may be passed overseas if you are seeking employment from an overseas employer. Your anonymity will be maintained however until you authorise a request to contact you via an nt3 email – see 8 above.

10. Sensitive Information

Since you provide your information yourself, any sensitive information you may choose to disclose on line is entirely at your discretion.

11. Feedback
