How does the nt3 website work?

Gone are the days of having to search through papers, fighting for a seat on public transport so you can knock on doors trying to find work or awaiting a response from an application you put in to a job advertised in the paper or on-line.  nt3 cuts out much of the legwork when recruiting new staff or finding a job!

The nt3 web site has been designed for people who are looking for work and for employers and recruiters to have an accessible system and infrastructure to search for and keep track of those individuals with the necessary skills to fill a position.

Job Seekers from all industry sectors can post a comprehensive profile of their work history and skills onto the nt3 website for review or selection by Employers for job opportunities across every industry sector.

All registered Employers can browse all registered Job Seekers, free of charge until they wish to initiate contact and an interview, at which point Employers will pay a minimal charge.  Each short-listed Job Seeker will receive a ‘contact request’ email  and a brief run down of the position and projected income on offer. Job Seekers can browse this information and make a decision on whether to accept or decline this invitation for interview. This ensures candidates are receiving the right opportunity for them and protects their privacy.

How much does it cost to join nt3?

It is free to job seekers! Registered employers can browse for free until they wish to initiate contact with a Job Seeker. $150.00 AUD + GST for general Job Seekers and $350.00 AUD + GST for Executives makes finding staff affordable for everyone.  This fee gives you the chance to contact up to 5 likely candidates.  Job Ad posting is also free until you have chosen to short-list and initiate contact with up to 5 suitable applicants (as above).  No good applicants? Don’t pay a cent.

Why should I join nt3?

It’s free to Job Seekers. Employers can also browse for free (until they want to make contact) and gives you, the Job Seeker, a chance to be in the market for work opportunities whilst you continue to give your full attention to your current employer without the distraction and hassle of making endless (often fruitless) job applications. Your profile can be printed off (free) as a nicely presented PDF resume.

As a Job Seeker, you have the possibility of numerous Employers coming to you (often before a position has been advertised) and as an Employer you only talk to Job Seekers whom you have already seen to be appropriate and can go through the normal recruitment process at a fraction of the cost of using recruiters. 

nt3 believes that having completely free access to an oline candidate pool gives Employers & Recruiters the freedom to choose who looks best for their roles without having to wait for applicants to find them.  The nt3 website provides this service at minimal cost and tries to provide Employers with choices when looking for staff.  “Maximum opportunities for Minimum cost”. Completed profiles are favoured by Employers & Recruiters, so be sure to provide solid detail when completing yours.

Can I find Employers rather than them finding me?

As a registered Job Seeker you also have access to a free Job Board used by Employers and Recruiters. You are able to browse and apply for all active job listings on the website.  Should you apply for a position, you must register and post a profile as a Job Seeker with nt3 which may also open up other possibilities from other Employers  (only if you wish to accept an Employer’s request to contact you).

Free Job advertising – You have to be Joking?

At nt3 we believe that anyone who has a potential job vacancy should not be hit with advertising costs. Employers or Recruiters only pay a very minimal cost once they have found that ideal applicant or applicants (up to 5) and want to initiate an interview. We have designed this so that any Employer has the chance of growing their business with staff they have hand picked for themselves.

This helps individuals looking for work and increases their chances of securing the right opportunity. Employers are more likely to take slightly more risk in giving someone an opportunity to prove themselves if the process is at a minimal cost to them or they have free access to satisfy thier own interest in a Job Seekers skills for the Job.

How does my Personal Information get used?

Once you have completed a full profile, your details (minus name & contact information) will be available for potential Employers to view who are browsing in the job industry sectors you have selected.  You also have the option to download your profile into a proven, professional resume format to take with you to interviews.

You have the advantage of managing your privacy and only releasing your details to those Employers with whom you are interested in finding work.  Your name and contact details are not available to Employers or Recruiters until your permission has been given.

If any of the registered Employers or Recruiters on the nt3 site wishes to interview you, you are notified by e-mail and can view the Employer Profile and job proposal before accepting and releasing all of your contact information. This system is in place to ensure your privacy is protected at all times and it also ensures you are getting the right opportunities presented to you. 

It is a condition of use of the nt3 website that you do not include any contact details in your viewing profile (including phone, mobile, email, etc. See our Terms and Conditions for more details) although you will need to give these details to nt3 for contact purposes.  See our Privacy Policy for more information on the use of your personal information.

Can I see if anyone has viewed my profile?

The nt3 web site has been designed with the Job Seeker in mind and has created a fully functional tracking system that can show you how many Employers have viewed your profile and the number of short listings. These stats will show the number of views for the day, week month and year and Job Seekers may take the initiative to continuously improve their profile after viewing these figures.

nt3 provides a “Profile Tips” section once you are registered, to assist you in building the best profile you can!

Do I have to go to every Interview that is offered?

No, although we suggest that you do go, only because it is great to learn and understand about any new job opportunity, even if it is outside your original thinking. You never know what it could lead to in the future and you obviously have some of the skills the Employer is looking for if they have requested to meet you.

You always have the option of notifying an Employer that you will not be attending an interview. You will be able to choose your response to an employer once they have picked you to potentially meet with them. This response system is as easy as clicking a button at the bottom of your Contact Request e-mail.

Can I keep my details on nt3 even if I am no longer looking for work?

For your convenience nt3 has designed the website in a way that will retain any information you have entered into the system.

If you have successfully found work and wish to stop employer contact, you have the ability to disable your details but save them for possible use to find work at a later date.  This will save you having to start from scratch in the future.

You can then re-activate your profile and update any relevant information and notify Employers who may have previously contacted you of your availability for work should your plans change or when you find yourself looking for work in the future.

How do Employers find and contact me?

Employers can find you by registering with nt3 and browsing for candidates within specific industry sectors. There is no cost for Employers associated with browsing our Job Seeker database. Employers only pay once they want your contact details released to them, and this process is controlled exclusively by you.

The nt3 Message Centre allows all Employers or Recruiters to send you "Notify" messages to check you are still active and available before adding you on their shortlist. This way any employer knows exactly where you stand before they ever have to pay any money to release your direct contact information. You can respond to Employer only when they have made contact with you first. Choose your responce and send back the message with the appropriate outline of your current circumstances.

Make sure you have an active e-mail account at all times so any messages find you ans employer can make timely contact with you.

The best way for Employers to find you is to have your profile completed and posted under the industry sector you are best qualified for. You can choose up to 5 industry sectors while setting up your profile and you can amend your profile at any time.

Is my Information secure?

Yes, your information is secure and is managed by you.  Your name does not appear, nor do your contact details. You are the one who releases your own information to the Employers of your choice. nt3 purely provides the vehicle to assist you in finding suitable employment (make sure your contact details are correct and up to date).

Your personal profile is also guarded against unauthorised access by a unique password and user name. Please keep all of this information in a secure place and do not give your password to any other person. This is how you login to the nt3 site and check, update, manage and control your personal profile information.
